Our Milling Policies
General Milling Policies
We can complete up to 15 minutes of milling while you wait. Any milling that would require more time to complete will become a work order, and our sales staff will give you an ETA for pick up.
The mill closes 30 minutes before the shop does, so if you want some milling done make sure to arrive a little earlier.
House Of Hardwood is a "First Come First Served” establishment, and as such, your job will go into line to be completed. Most work orders are completed within a couple of days to a couple of weeks, depending on the scale of the order.
Custom table tops or furniture orders can take several weeks, depending on availability.
Please don’t assume lead times, and check with us at time of placing your order.
We do not take orders or revisions over the phone. If you would like to place an order and are unable to make it to the shop, email us at info@houseofhardwood.com
Returns are subject to a restocking fee, and no lumber that has been milled in any way will be accepted.
Outside Surfacing
House Of Hardwood does offer an outside planing/surfacing service. Billable @ $180 per hour plus $20 start up fee.
House Of Hardwood does NOT mill, finish or perform any other type work on outside materials.
House of Hardwood will not surface any wet or “green” lumber, finished lumber, or reclaimed lumber that may contain metal or EPOXY.
House of Hardwood reserves the
right to refuse the surfacing of
any outside material.
