The House of Hardwood offers a large selection of fine hardwood lumber, hardwood veneer products (plywoods), mouldings, and flexible veneer sheets. The majority of the wood we carry is from managed (Forest Stewardship Council, FSC) forests.

 

Below are images of the varieties of hardwood lumber we stock.

 

Lumber:
- 1/2 inch to 4 inches thick
- hardwood lumber is S2S (surfaced two sides)
- random width and length
- premium VG Douglas Fir lumber and plywood
- can also special order any type of softwood in various grades and sizes

Decking:
- Mangaris and ipe decking
- Penofin line of protective finishes for decking materials

Plywood:
- Hardwood plywood from 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch thick in addition to MDF, marine ply, and a full line of paper back veneers.

- stock Finland birch micro ply for architectural model making

-distributor of "Plyboo" brand bamboo products and Formica brand laminates

Moulding:
- A full line of red oak, maple, and paint grade mouldings.

- We work with multiple moulding manufacturers and can special order different profiles or species that are not in stock.

Flooring:
- Unfinished strip flooring in red oak, white oak, and maple

-many different types of prefinished solid and engineered flooring products

Doors:
- full line of cabinet doors and drawer boxes

- manufactured by Decore-ative Specialties, one of the finest door manufacturers in California

Wood Slabs:
- Natural edge walnut, maple, and redwood slabs

- Custom size slabs can be special ordered

Finishing Supplies:
- A complete assortment of glues and adhesives for woodworking assembly.

- Finishes include stains, tung oils, and polyurethane top coats manufactured by Zar, Minwax, and Watco.

- We are a distributor for Smith & Co. industrial and marine synthetic resins and specialties.
